Canada

So, yeap, the end of yet another trip... and the beginning of another one! I am hours away from boarding the flight that will take me to Spain. I am sooo looking forward to catching up with everyone and relax at the beach, and go out for a drink, and sleep in the same bed for a few days...

In the last two weeks I have been in Canada with my friend Bea. This country is stunning. Since I did the west coast with my parents three summers ago, Bea and I focused on the east coast this time around- Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec and Montreal. Since last Monday I have been by myself in Mont-Tremblant though doing some hikking, reading, doing nothing... It has been a great mix between spending quality time with a good friend and being on my own for a while before really getting back to busy life tomorrow.

Some shoots for you to enjoy...

US tour with Amma

After two months on the road with Amma I can't think of a better way to spend the next few days than... sleeping!!! Oh my... Life with Her is intense.

Two intense months touring along the US and Canada- Seattle, San Francisco, LA, Alburquerque, Iowa, Chicago, New York, DC, Boston and finally Toronto. Very intense but so amazing that I already know what I would like to be doing again this time next year.

The farewell was sad but also nice because I knew that it was my time to leave and do other things... such as traveling along Canada for two weeks, vacationing in Spain... :) Seriously, I need some time away from Mother now to be able to feel what has happened in the last few weeks and integrate what I have learned into my worldly life. The good news is though that much of that integration has already happened!

Malaysia and Singapore

I am at the airport after spending five days in Singapore. Before that I went to Kuala Lumpur and Penang, to the North of Malaysia. It's been an interesting end of the trip. The highlight is for sure Amma's visit to Singapore. I was so happy to see Her and everyone else. And She seemed so happy to see me- it was such a beautiful reunion. Couldn't get enough of Her.

I liked Kuala Lumpur but I was pretty disappointed when got to Penang because everyone says that it is an amazing island and I found it to be pretty normal. Same, same with Singapur- nothing to exciting... maybe because I am not in the concrete/mall mood right now.

Some pictures from Kuala Lumpur-
(Petronas towers- simply stunning)
And this is my favourite place in Penang... a temple!

And some colonial buildings-

I will be back to Spain in a few hours. I hope that I will see those of you how are around these days. My arrival to New York will be on April 27th. Looking forward to catching up in person with everyone!

Cambodia

I am very sad at the airport... mising my TT (Travel Team)!!!!!! We had such a great time in Cambodia. I was having a look at the more than a thousand pictures that we took (yes), and... sniff, sniff. Rosa, Rebeca and Regina still have six more days left in the south but I am on my way to Kuala Lumpur right now. I know, pretty sad :) Also, after they were gone I got some great news from India which made my sniff less of a sniff- apparently Amma is going to be in Singapur next week! YES! YES! And me too! YES! YES!

Some pictures of the monuments (from all our cameras)-

(this is the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, and below the Ankor's temples... so stunning and beautiful and wonderful)

( Lara Croft was here, and so were we!)

And our daily life in Cambodia...

(at the Foreign Correspondents Club in Phnom Penh)

(Regina was holding a little kid and I was holding another one. Rebeca was seated on a stool in the middle of the corridor- she left her seat to the mother of all those kids who was also carrying a baby-, and Rosi was entertaining them all. It was the most moving day of the whole trip- the kids were undernurished and their mother could not contain her tears...)

And this is our clowing around album (our guide loved to take these kind of pictures and always put us in some nice position)-

(if anyone is looking for the new Spice Girls...)

(this was our "Parchis" moment!)

And these are our friends... friends of friends who live in Phnom Penh, and who are extremely great!

Sniff.

Arunachala

So, India is coming to and end- I am leaving tomorrow night for Camboya to meet with the girls!! I am soooo excited about spending some time with them.

My last week in India has been- as usual- veeery inteeeeeense. I arrived to Tiruvannamalai on Tuesday evening sure that the next day was full moon... well, it wasn't! So, as soon as I found a room to spend the night- the town was super busy and all hotels were sold out- I grabbed a bite and began with the fun- almost six hours on a queue to enter the Temple and then 14km walking around Arunachala. IT WAS AMAZING. I don't know how I did it, because at a point I thought that I was fainting, but it was incredible. So much learning in just one night...

The next afternoon- that night I went to bed after 4am- I visited Ramana Maharsi's ashram...

(that's Arunachala on the back...)

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. I thought that I would go back the next day to spend a few hours visiting the caves and meditating in the hall but I did not; instead I took a cab and came here... to the beach again :) Life is too intense, and I don't need to do it all at once, right? Overall I loved Arunachala and Ramana Maharsi's- I knew this before going- but the town is too noisy and crazy for me, and I needed a spiritual break before flying to Camboya. Talk to you from there.

Pondicherry

So, I spent a few days in the ex French colony catching up with some work, resting, and eating wonderful European meals. A few pictures of the beach...

And this is Lakshmi in a Temple nearby...

While in Pondicherry I visited Sri Aurobindo's ashram and I also went to Auroville a couple of times. The initial idea was to stay there day for a few days but there was not guest house available when I got in on Friday. So I ended spending all my time in Pondy- which I loved as well. Auroville is a beautiful place- you can check their website to learn about its vision.
